I am an Abstract Expressionist artist working to reinvent and/or explode the genre of Color Field painting for the eyes of the Algorithm Generation.
I’m drawn to the tension between chaos and order, but I lose sleep wondering about how much color the eye can safely and comfortably absorb/process.
Shout out to quilts, mosaics, stained glass, weavings, puzzles, pixelation, CAPTCHA, phosphenes and supernovas.
